What a ’round number’! LIGHTWORKS 30 and PODIO #130. With this month’s LIGHTWORKS we didn’t only break ONE record, no, we broke TWO (as far as I’m not wrong):
Record #2: The biggest thread on the friskyForum board on a show ever?[2]
This show was the greatest fun ever, not only because of those (really not too important) records above, but because of YOU - the fans and the feedback (the artist’s ‘bread’) - and the awesome DJ’s I welcomed as my guests on the show.

Regarding to this and this the latest news is that sharing friskyRadio shows on MercuryServer comes to a total end from today on. I really think this is the best solution since users seem to be unable to follow simple rules.
I do not want to have listeners and fans who are unable to respect this simple rules. All they do is rip my shows while their running and posting them BEFORE I even think about uploading the shows onto MY server for the PODIO.
There is a true and faithful crowd of people who know what respect means. They are either friskyRadio subscribers and/or donate to me for hosting the PODIO files. There’s a bunch of people who link to my sites and friskyRadio when they write about new sets at whatever internet sites. This is totally okay and wanted!
No, it’s not about the donations or any other money. It’s all about giving and respecting that. We (friskyRadio, myself and my DJ colleagues) love to GIVE, but don’t take an arm when we want to give a finger, please.
Although I have to say that I really think that Tom @ MercuryServer did all he could do, and this needs to be respected as well. We might not have the same opinion on some points but grown-ups can respect each others for their intentions. No hate.

Is it so hard to ask me? Is it so complicated to understand that I ask you for nothing more but CREDIT and RESPECT? You think you’re a sexy and tough guy when you actually STEAL my work? You think you have more friends with doing that?
Read my lips: S I M P L Y. A S K. M E. This is not so complicated. I have no problem with sharing my sets, really not. But I have a problem when you do not post a link to ingovogelmann.com (or l2podio.com, at least) and friskyRadio.com (or the club I have been playing at, talking about live recordings). Sharing my music is part of my intentions, music has got to be shared for everyone. STEALING is not part of my intentions.
Again: Is it so hard to understand? What’s wrong with you?

Big fun! Thanks to the people and the Casa team! The sets from last night will be on the PODIO later today, plus the ‘Best Of Casa Blanca‘ CD as one MP3 for your downloading pleasure and for the peeps that couldn’t grab one of the limited CD’s.
Diesbezüglich noch eine Info: Abgesehen von 2 CDs, die für spezielle Personen[1] reserviert sind, gibt es heute darüber hinaus eine limitierte Anzahl von

CDs, die beim Eintritt[2] - eine CD pro Paar - vergeben werden! Wie gesagt: Die Ersten 15 Paare haben Glück. Aber es werden in regelmässigen Abständen weitere CDs geben, und außerdem wird der Mix auf der CD auch in den PODIO gestellt. Dann hat man halt nur die (sehr schöne) CD nicht.
Zu allererst möchte ich denjenigen herzlich danken, dir mir in der Vergangenheit - so ganz aus dem Nichts - immer wieder einfach Beträge via PayPal geschickt haben, ohne wirklich dafür was zu kaufen. Das ist eine sehr feine Geste!
Und weil dieses Verhalten quasi unverschämt Überhand zu nehmen drohte (LOL), habe ich es euch jetzt - auch auf Anfrage von einigen lieben Leuten (z.B. von SuperSiggi) - bequemer gemacht, euren Dank für den PODIO auszudrücken. Ab sofort gibt es sowohl einen ‘Spenden’ als auch einen ‘Abonnieren’ Button!
Das mit dem Spenden erklärt sich von selbst, Abonnieren heisst: Jeden Monat zahlt ihr über euer PayPal automatisch 5 €,[1] ihr braucht nichts tun, PayPal macht das ganz alleine. Fürchtet nicht, Freunde, falls ihr da Bedenken habt. Ich habe in den vielen Jahren mit PayPal er ein einziges Mal eine Unregelmässigkeit erlebt, die dann aber auch anschließend zufriedenstellend geklärt wurde.
Also, ich freue mich, wenn ihr entweder einen einmaligen Betrag spendet oder gleich abonniert, was mir die Zahlungen für den dicken Server erleichtert. Das Ganze ist natürlich a) völlig anonym und b) absolut freiwillig, der PODIO ist und bleibt ungebunden und frei, so lange es ihn gibt und ich atme.

Bedenkt mal, für was man so 5 € im Alltag ausgibt … [jump]
… wenn ich nicht überall, wo ich auf den Plan trete, Schwarz-Weiß-Effekte erzeugen würde. Ein “geht so” ist fast ausgeschlossen, entweder heißt es “so eine Scheiße” oder “der Oberhammer”. Und alle sind sie “ja selber (mal) DJ (gewesen)” oder sonstige Experten.
Wie schön, daß “der Oberhammer” doch immer stark überwiegt. Das ist auch meist nur eine Frage des sich-auf-etwas-Einlassens. Und auf einmal geht alles. Ich behaupte: Wer sich darauf einlässt, und das dann immer noch “so eine Scheiße” findet, der hat ganz andere Probleme als mit der Musik.
Ich finde es jedenfalls gigantisch - neben der für mich sehr wichtigen, neuen Erfahrung - Menschen in einem ‘Misch-Etablissement’ begeistern zu können. Macht Laune!
