On Beatport under the genre ‘Progressive House’ is no ‘Progressive House’. It’s Electro House and fuckin Tech House instead. Where to find Progressive House @ Beatport?
Under Trance, Deep House and … yes: Psy Trance!
Good luck you Beatfuck morons. This is fucking annoying deluxe999.999.999.999.
Valued fans, I really ask you for your support which is very much needed. Why do I ask for it so intensively?
Well, I really think the true Progressive House needs a powerful comeback! I’m a true Progressive House lover from the early days and ‘Legend’ is my definition of the modern but true Prog House. Let us show the world that Prog isn’t Electro, Tech, Minimal or whatever mutation!
Help me and the Progressive House scene to show that we’re still the leading electronic dance music sound of the future!
Huge thanks and respect goes out to Shane and Hyline @ Jetlag Digital and Faisal Sultan @ friskyRadio for all their support and friendship over the years.
Many progressive artists that i used to like (XYZ for example who was my idol) started to play and produce bad minimal or some kind of tech-house music that ruined them and their reputation. Great example of XYZ’s old style is remix of XYZ’s ABCDEF which is stunning, and now i don’t even bother to go on Beatport and check him out.
What i wanted to say is that i admire you how you’re keeping your original style all the time and have no fear of playing a track which was played many times before (for ex. Robert Babicz - Dark Flower (Joris Voorn Magnolia Remix) in LW 31), because a great track is a great track no matter how old it is… I hope you understand what i wanted to say….
it has come to my attention that groove la chord on “the art of vengeance ep”…my first big, and maybe the most important release in my career has been copied by israeli artist shlomi aber.
after receiving an email from a listener who had noticed a certain similarity to my track and his track “efrat”, i went to check this guy out on Beatport and was surprised of the similarity, allthough the quality on Beatport leaves a lot to wish for.
after checking his myspace page out, and finding out he is a “friend” of mine and then listening to the track, i cant come to another conclusion that my original track, not only was being an inspiration to his track, but also most likely sampled.
I did not listen to both versions, because I don’t care. I only ask to consider: Of course, it’s not okay IF it’s the case. But I would not behave that way, also not for somewhat more press attention.
