Mystic Moments

Today a fan wrote me an email with a very interesting question:

How do you find your compositions? What happens before you write a track?

Well, I believe I explained that some time ago. Music finds ME, not vice versa. Often it comes to me in complete silence, when I’m not ‘disturbed’ by some other music or even other sounds. Sometimes I wake up with a melody, bassline or rhythm structure in my head, I really can’t explain that completely. It’s like something happened while I was sleeping (or dreaming).

Sometimes I’m ‘idling around’ in the bathtub or on a train, plane, car or something like that. And then there’s something jumping into myself and I’m like “holy shit, YES that’s it!”.

EVERY composition of mine is made this way. Even with remixes it’s the same, the remix always finds ME.

Maybe tomorrow I wake up like that. Who knows? Wink BTW, isn’t the headline a good title for the next track?

ich wuerde mir aks erstes die frage stellen. “hab ich mir das echt ebend ausgedacht, oder hab ich das schonmal irgendwann irgendwo aufgeschnappt.” so ergeht es mir immer wenn mir was im kopf rumschwirrt.
