This is the official website of the musician, sound engineer, DJ, composer & producer for film & media Ingo Vogelmann. No MySpace, Fuckbook or whatever ... this is a real real deal.
Below this welcome message and the (very important) ads you find Ingo's (multilangual) Blog posts. Also explore the internal pages and (masses of) good stuff in the sidebars to the right and have a nice stay!
my name is Ingo Vogelmann, Composer, Producer and Label Manager. I wonder why you collect my music under
***URL***
and offer it as ringtones via a 3rd party provider and I know nothing about that. It seems like you’re making money of it, correct me if I’m wrong. Also correct me when I didn’t recognize that you and I have made a contract. At least I am not able to remember something like that.
It is possible that my distributor really made a contract with ringtone distribution companies. Please, inform me if this is the case in my case, I will also ask my distributor.(1)
I kindly request your reply within the next 3 days.
This is actually a cool website. They don’t collect your music, it’s pulled from a search engine no different from google. Just change the links to your music and they won’t use it. Shouldn’t you guys be happy people are listening to your music anyway?
Cool website? Because you can download music you didn’t pay for without permission of the rights holder? I should be happy that people are listening to my music anyway?
Dude, if you try to be a funny guy, please, be funny but not here.
[...] They didn’t respond. But they removed every track of mine that is obviously delicate regarding copyright violation. And they did it with an extraordinary precision. No ringtones to be found anymore. [...]
I wasn’t trying to be rude. Sorry. I was just trying to point out it’s pulled from a search engine skreemr and seeqpod.com. They do not provide a download button anywhere. The site promotes the ability to be able to listen to music found on search engines not download. That’s all im saying. My apologies again, no disrespect at all. I really like all your guys music.
Frank, it’s about the fact that they actually SOLD MY MUSIC as ringtones via a 3rd party company. I (nor my distributor) NEVER made a contract with any of those companies. This is illegal money making with MY work.
I don’t want to be rude as well, and sorry when I’ve been offensive in any way. It’s just that I’m totally fucked up at the moment.
Imagine you are a painter and painted a picture. Someone makes a litography (copy) of it and sells it, with your name on it. The money flies in his pocket and you get not a single buck of it. How do you feel?
I understand and I’m glad they took it down. :). I just looked and they sell ringtones from thumbplay, I tried searching on that site and nothing comes up so I doubt they actually made any money off your music. I think your music was being pulled from skreemr.com, if you search there, I see your music. You might want to contact them.
