Britischer Schriftsteller Arthur C. Clarke gestorben | tagesschau.de

Der britische Science-Fiction-Autor Arthur C. Clarke ist im Alter von 90 Jahren gestorben. Dies teilte ein Mitarbeiter auf Sri Lanka mit, wo der Schriftsteller seit den 1960er lebte. Der Brite wurde durch den Kubrick-Film “2001: Odyssee im Weltraum” weltberühmt, der auf einer seiner Kurzgeschichte beruht und zu dem er auch das Drehbuch verfasste. Insgesamt schrieb er mehr als 100 Bücher.
