Welcome

This is the official website of the musician, sound engineer, DJ, composer & producer for film & media Ingo Vogelmann. No MySpace, Fuckbook or whatever ... this is a real real deal.

You heard Ingo's own music somewhere or as a DJ live or on the radio and loved it? You should subscribe to the vogelmann Gigs Feed by either ... subscribe in a reader or subscribe to vogelmann Gigs by Email to never miss a gig!

Below this welcome message and the (very important) ads you find Ingo's (multilangual) Blog posts. Also explore the internal pages and (masses of) good stuff in the sidebars to the right and have a nice stay!

Radio sets and L2 PODIO policy

Thank you all for listening to and supporting the show, dear fellows!

Okay, here comes the news:

  1. As always - LIGHTWORKS 23 is ready for grabbing @ www.l2podio.com. Consider to subscribe to the Podcast/RSS Feed to be always up-to-date.
  2. PLEASE: The L2 PODIO is and always will be free of any charge. BUT I really ask you to consider YOUR friskyRadio subscription to support the station! When you support the station you support me, all my guest DJ’s, all involved artists and labels and the entire dance music scene you all love so much!
  3. I have thought about a solution on the “Tracklistings Issue”. Tracklistings are very good to support and promote the artists and I find that very very important! I decided to mention the names of the projects/artists who are involved in my mixes. This is the best I can do to both please you AND my artist colleagues. The relevant names will be written (chronologically, like the mix has been done) in the RSS file of the L2 PODIO just right after every show. Afterwards you have the possibility to listen to the artist’s tracks on the net and/or buy them.

On one hand this guarantees that you’ll be able to find the tracks you love. On the other hand I make sure that you visit the L2 PODIO website which means at least some promotion for L2 Music, me and friskyRadio.

This is still a lot of work to me since I almost never spin 2 hour sets. It’s still a pain in the ass to write down all this stuff manually, because not all track files are tagged right and stuff … but I love to do that because it’s a good and right thing to do. Finito.

I really think this is a very good solution for all of us.

And now: HAPPY DOWNLOADING!
