It seems like once a year I sit down and write an epic progressive tune, like “Ararat” last year. It’s time for a new one.

(Please, keep in mind that this is a DEMO snippet. The production isn’t finished, yet, but I wanted to give you a picture of what it’ll be like.)
Details about the release of Angelic is totally unclear, so the date is. I’m on a level of my own evolution where I think about NOT releasing everything via L2 Music. There’s a handful of labels out there who are working good, especially when it comes to promotion. I think I really will send the finished mixes to some people I know in this industry, to some of the small indie dance labels who are thankful to receive some really good piece of emotional music.
If there’s anyone involved in label biz reading this (and having heard the demo above): Go present your ideas on this to me. I’m totally open-minded as long as you are able and planning to do a really good promotion.
Das wollte ich ja gar nicht hören, aber von der Annahme, ich würde diese Krampfsoftware nutzen, bin ich doch erschrocken, wenn ich das mal so sagen darf.
Ich will ja jetzt auch niemandem auf die Füße treten, aber FL ist für mich überhaupt nicht ernst zu nehmen. Mein Sohn hat - als er 8 war - mal mit der Demoversion bessere Songs produziert als Mike Oldfield mit der Vollversion.
Ich finde, das sagt alles.
Zum Verständnis und zur Info:
Meine Flagschiffe in der täglichen Produktion heißen REASON 3, Ableton Live! und Melodyne 3.1. Anderes kommt mir momentan nicht in die Tüte.
Die Vocals sind mit Melodyne vorbearbeitet und kommen dann in Reason im NN-XT zum Einsatz. Und zwar mit meinen IV Rooms 1.0 Effekten (Delay & Reverb).

Au, au…. ich fragte eben genau aus diesem grund. Eben weil MO das auch mal genommen hat, und wohl noch immer benutzt. Das las ich mal irgendwo. Mir ist eingefallen, dass MO seine vocals damit gemacht hat, deswegen fragte ich.
Ich persönlich hab ‘nen Mac und FL gibbet dafür nicht, aber REASON.
